Laura Gossett started in the restaurant industry at 18 years old working as a server and hostess. After trying other career paths she was continuously drawn back to the food industry. In 2010, after almost 20 years working in the corporate chain restaurant world, Tasty Table was born. Over the last fourteen years Tasty Table has grown into a catering business serving corporate and private events. The Soda Shoppe by Tasty Table opened in March of 2023. It is located inside of The Reeves Sain Pharmacy that has been a Murfreesboro, TN staple for over 30 years. Laura recently opened a commercial kitchen, Host Commissary Kitchen, located in Rutherford County that provides other culinary creators a space to start or grow their businesses. Although Laura was not raised in Tennessee, she has found a deep love for her community and loves to call Murfreesboro, TN home. Ms. Gossett continues to serve the Rutherford and surrounding counties offering great tasting and affordable catering for all. “The most important part of this business is to be able to provide a “growth” mentality. Meaning that while the business grows so do the people. It is important that as we go into each season of our lives that we are always learning something new and giving back to others.”
